Located 7 miles northeast of Roswell. From Main St./U.S. 285
head east on Pine Lodge Road.  It is at the end of the road.

REFUGE  DISCOVERY  TOUR
Refuge Manager, Jeff Howland, takes you on a tour through some of the close areas of the Refuge.   Learn about Refuge operations, endangered species management, and future refuge planning.   Visit historical sites on the refuge as well as newer additions.   See sinkholes and learn how each one is unique.   Learn where the water on the refuge really comes from (not the Pecos).
Maybe see a species that is found nowhere else in the world.
Remember your water, camera and Binoculars!

INK POT SINKHOLE TOUR
Refuge Ranger, Steve Alvarez, will lead you on a one-mile hike inside the
Salt Creek Wilderness Area to view one of the most impressive sink holes
located on the Refuge.   Along this fun tour it is possible to see some wildlife,
learn about the various habitants, and see the largest sinkhole found on the Refuge.
Please bring sturdy hiking shoes and bottled water.
Remember your camera and Binoculars.
