Message: My Uncle was a Master Sergeant in the 8th Cavalry Regement. They were captured by the Chinese and became P.O.W.s. His name is Ed H. Potter. He wrote down his accounts and wanted to get it printed and dedicate it to all his Buddies he served with. He died before he could complete it. Please help me get this finished. ( ANY ) information is greatfully appreciated. His accounts, although incomplete should be read and remembered by ALL Americans. The sacrafice these men made should not be forgotted or lost. Thank You Truly.

Message: My Dad was in the 8th cav., 2nd Bat. "H" Co.
His name is Ralph McPhail, former Master Sergeant.
He is 80 and lives in Terry, Mississippi. Was one of the 1,500 that made it to the Yalu, then onto Unsan. Performed "Covert Actions" . THe family did not know this until a few years ago.
I never heard him mention anyones names except a few of his buddies.
