I was in the Korean war as a private in the Canadian Army Infantry. That was our personal weapon. Single Shot Bolt Action. We used it in WW1,WW2,and the Korean war,IN 1954 we were issued the semi-automatic FN C1 made in Belgium. The FN stands for FABRIQUE NATIONAL. Regards to all Korean War Veterans.
