I can't even say I am sure which branch of the service he served in (although, I think it was the Army). He talked about things only once - to his brother. I understand they stayed up most of one night and he talked the entire time. No one - not even my aunt - ever heard him speak of it. He is gone now, I am so sorry to say. In many ways, I think his POW experiences cost him his life. He was from Sidney, OH. If anyone knows anything of him or about him, I would be most interested in learning from you!
