I was given a mission to find out what call signs I Corps used when having radio traffic to units in the war. I need from the I Corps General and all the way down if possible. Thank you for your time...

Call signs per se change in accordance with the SOI (Signal Operating Instructions WWII and Korean War era). For instance a regimental commander might be mickey 6 in a classified SOI which might be changed each 24 hours and these would be hard to pin down due to the frequency of changes. Other designators, unclassified, remain the same. For instance in the 1st infantry Div, 16th Regt (my old outfit) the designator at Regimental HQ was DAGWOOD as inDAGWOOD 1, 2 0r 3 on up to DAGWOOD 6, the regimental Commander. I think these unclassified signs, which never changed were telephone call signs (as in wire commo) as wire was considered secure and so unclassified signs were used unlike the SOIs for radio - insecure.

I mention this, not to insult your intelligence but as in clarification and caution that radio signs were different than wire and the radio signs were changed frquently. I suspect you are searching for the wire signs.
