I know that he left out of Fort Lewis Washington on a ship with the # 5692 ( I would love to know the name of the ship, but can't find that either ) and that he was allowed to go home for a few days in October 1952 for the funeral of his beloved infant son James Jr. James had a blue book that had been made and distributed by the Army I presume and since he passed it has gone missing...Does anyone know James McCain ?? I would so love to hear from someone who knew him, maybe have a photo of him or know any thing about the book...maybe James was one of your close friends.
