Get state and local weather reports from the National Weather Service by clicking on a graphical map of the U.S.A. All states with current weather watches are color coded. A great source.
For another detailed view of U.S. and World weather, Intellicast covers it. Two of it's best features are the US Radar and US NEXRAD maps. You can even watch the radar loops.
For the latest realtime GEOS Satellite shots(update every 30 minutes), go to the SSEC(Space Science and Engineering Center) site. Click for the full screen shots.These views still amaze me.
At the Weather Underground interactive site, you can pick and choose your own favorite cities weather information from around the USA and the World. In short, create your own personal page which will be there whenever you log onto it. Another feature allows you to get the weather by zip code. You can even view it in many different languages if you so chose.
For US and World traveler's advisory weather you can check the CNN ..... Weather Channel ......AccuWeather...... Yahoo travel sites.
If you really want to get your hands dirty weatherwise check out places such as NCDC .... GHCC .... ADDS ..... NCEP and of course here. Don't get lost.
