after the race, the long busy day

when your muscles tell you to relax

Tired means collapsing on the sofa

getting a drink, watching TV, reading

the yawns, the can't-keep-your-eyes-open,

when you've read too many chapters

Sleepy demands eyes-shut, down time

dreams, sweet oblivion
